thing that caught my eye were the churches in Bucharest. 86 percent of the population belongs to the Romanian Orthodox communion and an estimated Orthodox Church is the second in the world after Russia. There are countless churches erected in Bucharest. Contrary to Catholicism, these buildings are small with a predominance of tubular domes, arches and mural painting. Inside there are many icons and candlesticks.
he had been in Holy Week, most churches were open. We visited a lot, about fifteen (or more).
On Saturday, at twelve o'clock, had Mass site dedicated to the resurrection of Jesus. For the limited space inside, most of the churches offered their offices in the atrium. Parishioners attended solemn carrying candles in their hands.
